The aim of the BPMN (Business Process Model Notation) standard is to provide a framework for describing processes in a uniform way, standardised across all organisations.

One major advantage of the BPMN standard is its simplicity, based as it is around three fundamental elements :

These elements are then “set in motion” by means of conversation and choreography diagrams using your data.

This standard is the most popular worldwide for process modelling. Introduced in 2006, it was updated in 2011 and BPMN2 is now generally accepted as the gold standard for process modelling. The Process Governance module therefore follows this standard fully to facilitate your projects.

Automatic creation of specifications

Process Governance allows you to automatically create a BPMN2-compliant specification from your process models.

Starting from a number of models and Word document archives, your specification can be generated automatically, using all the elements found in your process models, i.e. the participants, roles, processes followed, descriptions provided, etc. together with the entire technical aspect that will be necessary for project integration by the IT department. If you add extra documents to your model (screen images, files related to processes, invoice printing in PDF format, etc.), these can be used in the specification.
Automatic creation of BPM projects

Taking the modelling produced by business and IT project management teams, Blueway will automatically generate the BPM project in the data flow design workshop where the target processes, data traffic, screens and documents necessary will all be set up.

This automatic integration delivers greater upgradeability as it manages versioning and allows you to backtrack if necessary to see previous versions of the process modelling. You can consequently be more agile, because you can deliver only those parts of a project that have changed (one screen, a process, etc.) without necessarily being obliged to deliver the entire project again.

All these aspects provide a standards-compliant working environment intended to ensure that processing matches the requirements as described.
